A Voss and Pike Casefile: The Early Days
Section 39: The Summons
Marian's council mailbox had been deleted at 06:10 the next morning, the usual three-day courtesy, but the council archived everything. One message, timed 21:58, From: M. Teague, To: R. Keast.
"Roland - quay, after the speeches. I want you standing where it happened before you vote on what counts as a problem. Bring your lanyard so the guard lets you through. M."
Beside it, a flag in Keast's own mailbox: DELETED 06:09.
Marian's 21:58 email asks Keast to meet her on the quay that night; he deleted his copy at 06:09 the following morning, an hour after her body was found.
